We are looking for a tenacious and detailed - oriented accountant able to perform various accounting duties such as bookkeeping, maintaining the general ledger correctness, drafting fiscal declarations and fiscal calculations to be approved by the superior, assisting with audit documents preparation.

This job holder reports to Chief Accountant and Economic Director

Main responsibilities (not limitative):

Ensure timely and accurate booking of GL allocated entries in SAP;

Understand the rationale behind all GL postings and able to control the costs accuracy and the existence of documents for allocated projects;

Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile journal entries, balance sheet account for each month's closing;

Prepare and reconcile accruals and advance expenses

VAT journals revision, verify that proper documentation is available to sustain the VAT;

Responsible for drawing up the declarations (VAT 390, 300, 394, Profit Tax) according to local regulations and assist the Chief Accountant in its revision;

Support and participate in month end closing, year-end closing, audit, group reporting, annual /semester financial accounting statements;

BNR statements for loans;

Diverse ad-hoc accounting and financial reports required by the management.

Successful candidate:

Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics;

SAP and MS Office (especially Excel) knowledge;

Accounting experience and (preferably) familiarity with financial accounting statements, the month-end/year-end close process, VAT statements;

Proactivity, desire & capacity to self- improve;

Ability to respect strict deadline;

Ability to work as a team-mate but also with minimum supervision;

Professional English; German is not mandatory, but it is a plus;
